'Groundless 1' Silk Scarf
Description
This 100% silk scarf is made by Artist Hedwig Barry, in collaboration with Maya Barry. The work, 'Groundless I' (2019) is a reflection on walking through my father’s garden. Here, an accumulation of fallen leaves and plant debris create an uneven terrain. The work probes how surface, form, and process might translate the instability of ground itself; at once a physical site, and a metaphor for states of uncertainty.
