Description
This 100% silk scarf is made by Artist Hedwig Barry, in collaboration with Maya Barry. The work, 'Contour' (2023) describes an imaginary tracing of the topography of the ancient, the hot, and the dry of the Kalahari Desert in Southern Africa. The work was made whilst reflecting on a time spent at Tswalu Kalahari Reserve as an artist-in-residence at the Tswalu Foundation.
