Description
This 100% silk scarf is made by Artist Hedwig Barry, in collaboration with Maya Barry. The work, 'Skin' (2019), which is part of a trilogy of works (including 'Under Skin' and 'Skinned') that were destroyed in a fire. These works are about the body as a site of propulsion and love. The body changes at times suddenly, and at other times quietly and slowly.
